On Wednesday, July 23rd, there will be an orientation conducted at the Auditorium of the Lake County Government Center, 2293 N. Main Street, Crown Point.
This orientation is mandatory for anyone interested in taking the test to become a Lake County policeman.
Applicants must meet the following:
- U.S. Citizen
- 21 Years of Age
- High School Graduate or GED
- Good Reputation & Character
- Pass written, medical, psychological, physical agility & polygraph
- Submit to a background check
- Have no felony convictions
- Have Valid driver’s license
- Submit to drug & alcohol screening
It will be conducted from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
