UNIFORM DIVISION > Traffic Info   Patrol   Transportation   Traffic   Court Security   Bicycle Unit The Traffic Unit currently as 11 officers assigned to the unit. Their responsibilities include the processing of routine traffic reports, traffic law enforcement and patrol of the major highways and interstates that run through Lake County. The Traffic Unit has 6 fully equipped police motorcycles in services. Also assigned within the unit are 4 Accident Reconstructionists who have the responsibility of investigating the most serious and fatal accidents that occur in the county.
