There are 179 Merit Corrections Officers, two (2) Merit Police Officers, and approximately 70 civilian support staff members in the Corrections Division.

Med-Staff, Inc., led by Director Shane Gerovac and Director of Nursing Bob Grknich, provides medical services to inmates around the clock and Edgewater Systems for Balanced Living, led by Onsite Supervisor Michelle Harris, provides mental health services for inmates. Additionally, there are “faith based” groups who provide educational and support groups for inmates at the Jail and Work Release Facilities at no cost to the taxpayers of Lake County.
