Firearms Training   Intern Program   Police Training

The training office of the Lake County Sheriffs Department is a part of the Staff Services Division. It is located on the second floor in building C of the Lake County Complex. Lt. W. Roy Garrett, who is a 22-year veteran of the Lake County Sheriffs Department, heads the training office. The Training Officer is also the Crime Watch Officer, Neighborhood Watch Officer, as well as training coordinator for the department. In addition Lt. Garrett is the senior certified firearms instructor for the department.
